Default Moved up, 3betting 88.

No reads.

CO $48
BTN $152
SB $182
hero $172
UTG $387

I am in big blind with pocket eights.

Two calls, BTN raises to $10, BB calls, Hero raises to $35(to small? spew without reads?), Everyone folds exept button.

Pot is now $74, eff stacks is now $127

The flops comes 6 2 3 with two hearts.

Plan?

On the flop i really started to hate my betsizing preflop, but when youre new to the blinds its hard to do the math quickly. If i had more time id make it $46, is that good?

your hand is right in the middle where calling preflop is probably best

Ok, so call preflop. Move on to the flop. Thepuma you know that a push would be almost twice the potsize right?

I decided to bet 39 and to call a push.

Folding seemed weak(could be very wrong here) and if he is on a FD or just wants to take it down with AK or whatever, i wanted him to believe that there is FE for him to take advantage of.

95% of the time if he is pushing here over your raise its not for fold equity. So stop thinking so deep in this situation

If you don't take down the pot pre-flop any bet you make on the flop turns your hand into a bluff or if you call a bluff-catcher.

There's really no reason to 3-bet mid Pairs pre, your requirements for playing PPs are the five-ten rule.

As played, I'm betting $45 and folding to a push.

An aggressive opponent is going to have a fairly big range to make that bet so I don't think the 3 bet is bad in itself but stacks sizes just make it tough on nearly every flop when ur called. If the button had a deeper stack, or perhaps a smaller stack, then I see nothing wrong with the 3bet especially if we have a tightish image (which new level nits normally do ).
