Default Trailer Park Boys - freekin\' hilarious Canadian cable TV show

I had never heard of the Trailer Park Boys, a low budget cable TV show in Canada that is censored here in the US. A friend of mine just turned me on to their show.. Oh man such twisted deranged humor, apparently its become a huge cult favorite for our friends up North. Alex Lifeson from Rush appeared in one episode. Takes watching a few shows to figure out wtf is going on but man such madness.

I know I'm late to discovering this twisted comedy.. but if you haven't seen it either, then check this out. I think several segments of the OOT community will like this. I'm totally addicted to Canadian Cable TV...

Basic Story Outline

The show starts off in typical fashion: Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles scheme several plans inside their home, Sunnyvale Trailer Park, to get rich and retire from crime, as well as settle down with their relatives. .. .In the end, however, their capers always end poorly, robberies become botched, dope-selling schemes get ruined, and each season usually ends with some, or all of them back in jail, planning to succeed next time.

Highly recommended if you like weird bizarre humor.

Oh dude this show is amazing. I've seen the first couple of seasons, haven't seen it in a while though because the friend who has the DVDs moved. I will have to find this on Amazon or something. For those of you who haven't seen it... it is spectacular. Highly recommend it.

Wow thanks for posting that. TPB is a show I genuinely LOVE and my gf and I watch it religiously. It honestly breaks my heart to read that (I'm only halfway through btw).

I watched a 'making of' documentary called 'Hearts of Dartmouth' and it made the show seem like everyone was a big family. This added to my enjoyment of the show and it is really, really disappointing to hear that they were treating people like that and acting like Hollywood [censored]. The show really isn't the same in season 7 w/o Cory and Trevor. Wow I am seriously pretty upset about this. Those guys deserved SO much better.

It's good. If you ask me, it peaked a bit ago, and now people are kind of tired of it. But that didn't stop me from buying the seasons on DVD.
