So far this has been a lot more interesting than the previous debates.
Dr. Paul and Rudy "hero of 9/11" had a scuffle over the cause of 9/11. Hucabee: "We spend money like John Edwards and a beauty shop." |

ron paul is doing well but i wonder how he is received by the masses.
guliani and mccain have little long term strength and i think were likely going to see one of the other candidates or an unknown take a lead for the primary nomination in just a matter of time. |

romney seems to always have the answer, he's smooth, comfortable. looks like he's been there before. he could very well be the next president.

Who was the dude who said America is the last hope of Western society? He was a congressman, about 55 yr old with white hair.

Ron Paul rocks. The only man who tells the truth in congress. Rudy and Fox News are ambushing him; bunch of whining bitches.

Romney is the ultimate sleazebag politician. Every time I see his frequent flip-flopping and equivocations I'm just amazed and sick about how obscene the pandering to constituents is within the Republican party. The man obviously doesn't really have a "core" ideology.
Hm, but I guess that shouldn't be a problem for me. He's got the economic issues down pat, and he actually has alot of well formulated policy ideas, like limiting discretionary fiscal funding. And his past record with Bain Capital and management of the Olympics really speaks well for his that same economic savvy. He has Prof. Mankiw as an economic advisor. Ron Paul fantasies aside, he's by far the best candidate for someone like me who's increasingly more concerned about economic rather than social issues (I think the former will more easily beget the latter). Reconciling my visceral dislike of him with a more measured examination of his actual policies is going to be similarly difficult for alot voters, especially single-issue ones. |
