Default Seriously WTF, is this a leak?

I have lost so much money in the past 3 months pushing all in with overset draws that I'm starting to wonder if I have a serious leak in my game.

I know it's player and situation dependent, but should I be folding to flop raises on drawy boards with aa kk and qq? I don't know if this is just the worst run of cards I've seen or if it's a serious leak in my game.

I've really been trying to play a lot more solid recently meaning a bit tighter and more aggressive. But if I start folding to any bit of heat on drawy flops or even dry flops I feel like I'm going to get run over at 5/10 NL and up. WTF?!?!?!

Chris

I guess he means by overset draw that he has an overpair and knows in order to win the hand, he needs a set( 2outer style) and is up against a set or 2 pair on flop. In which case, the logic is completely off... you shoudlnt stay around in these hands if you know this and consider it an overset draw. 2 outs= NO GOOD

so the answer to the question is yes, it is a leak. If you are able to make the read that you are on the overset draw, try to lay it down next time

call the flop c/r and then re-evaluate the turn. If its a terrible card for you and he shoves then you can think about folding. If its safe and he shoves you can still obviously fold since your flop c-bet/call combo SHOULD affect his shoving range (if it doesn't he's highly exploitable). Obviously if you think he's fos a high enough percentage of the time then you call.

Calling with position is often far better than raising. Don't give up three streets of positional advantage by autoshoving every over pair you get.

You should call and get the $ in on a safe turn, where your equity is greatly increased. It's probably a decent bit of negative variance to run into sets on drawy boards this often. You'll win a lot of $ flatcalling a c/r on a drawy flop with overpairs and sticking $ in on safe turns.
