awesome glitches in video games
Was just playing EA Sports MLB 04 and it reminded me to start a thread like this. In Dynasty Mode on that game, after the first season, Wakefield somehow develops a 90 MPH fastball to go along with his 59 MPH knuckleball and 70 MPH curve. So awesome.
Similar one - in EA's NHL '99 (i think it was 99, maybe 02), some random chud like Robert Reichel goes from being a crap 3rd liner to a star in the first offseason. That's all I got. I'm not much of a gamer.

ahh crap, i can't remember now, but in one of the versions of NBA Live a few years back, there was some rando like Earl Boykins that had grossly disproportionate trade value.
Earl Boykins for Kobe straight up. Seems fair, right?

On Madden 94 for Sega Genesis the 85 Bears have about a 75% success rate for onsides kicks.

In MLB2K7 there are a few guys with power ratings of C- or D, but if you pitch them a ball inside they can inside-out it to the opposite field for a no-doubt homerun... Also Mussina's knuckle curve is absurd and they have Pedro throwing about 10mph faster than he does. Oh, and they make Johnny Damon a far better CF than he is.

there is this glitch in NHL 94 (Sega) where nobody can beat me, except this 1 guy in Toronto I found on an NHL 94 channel.

NBA Live 95- Latrell Sprewell cannot miss from 3. You can pretty easily score 200 with him in a standard game.

But my local Best Buy has a PS3 station with NBA Live demo. The only teams you can play as are Miami and Dallas. Every time I go to Best Buy, I play the game. I've yet to miss a shot with Dirk Nowitzki.
