Default Does he have AxKh, or a boat?

villain is 30/12/1.4 over small sample (less than 50 hands), and seems reasonable

A set seems pretty likely based on the action. When you 3 bet and youre behind you lose 2 bets but when your ahead you win 1 so I just call.

yeah, that's the factor that most pushes it to a call imo, though i'm still interested in, as a matter of hand reading, what people think he's more likely to have here

This would be the correct thinking if it was equally likely he held a set as a weaker flush. with his line, this is a K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or worse way more than a very poorly slowplayed set.

well, i agree with you that Kh is more likely, though i'm not sure it's likely enough to warrant the 3 bet... could be wrong, though. that's why i posted it

I refuse to believe he has a fh here. it really wouldn't make sense unless he has a very scared TT.

that kind of thinking cost me an extra 2 bets last night though.

I call the river raise. BB 3bet preflop, and only raises 12% anyway, so his range is tightened down a lot. I'd estimate something like ATs+, KQs+, 88+. Comparing that range to this board you are behind more often than not after he raises the river. You need to be ahead 67% to make a 3bet break even here. I'm guessing he has exactly TT based on the action.

Edit: Since you held the Qh it is even more unlikely I think, since that excludes QhQx, AxQh and KQs combinations. I doubt he's raising with anything less than Qh here.

he checks the flop with TT?

Wow this hand make no sense whatsoever. He shouldn't even be checking KQo there that much. But does he even 3-bet that? Is he terrible enough to have JJ here? My god this hand angers me lol.

No 2 cards make sense here. Go ahead and call. I would say he fold to the 3-bet about as often as he caps as often as he calls.

Default RESULTS

well, looks like a few votes for call, a few for 3-bet. i'd be interested in more opinions, as i think it's an interesting spot. but at the risk of tainting any subsequent responses here are the RESULTS:

i actually 3 bet, partially because i felt Kh was more likely, but mostly because i was tilting a bit at the time. i felt like it was the wrong play but did it anyways. he of course capped w/ 99...NICE FLOP CHECK, DOUCHEBAG!!! DO YOU HATE MONEY????
