30r UTG raise with KQs facing AI on flop
I'm relatively new to MTTs, mostly playing STTs and got into this hand while playing the 30$ Rebuy tonight.
There have been still 33 people left in the tournament and the first 20 get ITM. Looking at this hand afterwards I think I should fold this preflop cause I have 25BB left and can wait for better spots. But anyway, can someone experienced comment on this? Re: 30r UTG raise with KQs facing AI on flop
this hand looks really standard to me, only thing i might do differently is bet a bit more on the flop

Re: 30r UTG raise with KQs facing AI on flop
So its ok, facing 7 people behind me to raise UTG with this hand because of the common tight play in this stage of a tournament?

Re: 30r UTG raise with KQs facing AI on flop
Seems ok to me. Flushdraw + 2 overcards aint bad if you ask me.
Sidenote: dont post the turn and river, its out of the question and might change peoples thoughts about the action. |

[/ QUOTE ] It's certainly not wrong and, given stack sizes, I'd raise here more often than not (folding to RR pf). Obviously, a lot depends on how respect my UTG raise is going to get and how wide BB defends his blind. I'm felting that flop, so would bet more to price myself in. |

Nice hand.
This is an easy flop to check/raise. Sometimes, I just stick it in to pick up the 12k and end it. |

My opinion is that...
[ QUOTE ] I'm felting that flop...so I would bet more on flop to price myself in. [/ QUOTE ] But I have a question for the community... What does the community think? Would check, re-raise all in be a better play here? |
