I think I lead out the turn, call if raised, and check call river. If no raise on turn, I lead the river also.

bet Turn your opponent not allways have the king. On 2/4 i see call's with hot air in hope the get one pair on the river if you opponent has called with a underpair you give a freecard to a hand worth 5 outs.

Per Harv's analysis, bet/fold -- button has a lot of hands that didn't hit, and I don't think you're getting bluffed at very often. I'd fire again on the river if virtually any card drops.

Re: i caught my pair.. now what to do?
Bet/fold. The pot is small and a typical 2/4 opponent is not raising the turn with a worse/equal hand nearly often enough to justify a calldown.
You could also try getting trickery and check/calling, but I don't think he takes the bait & bets with 55 or whatever very often. If he calls the turn bet then I'm check/calling any non-A, non-Q river (not because I don't think I have a value bet, but because I want to get to a showdown all the time & improve my read on the opponent). |
