Default Noooooooooooooooooooo

Villain is 35/20. My gut feeling is that he is bad. But that's always my initial assumption when I see lagtard-ish stats, and it's not trustworthy read. (I thought the same thing when I first saw MUCKEMSAYUHH at 2/4, lol.)

it took me a while to figure out why one of my buddylisted fish was always 8-12 tabling 1k or 2k tables.

on the hand, you gotta bet the river. i dont know how he could be full, wouldnt this player always raise a set or two pair somewhere earlier in the hand?

Can he call $385 on the turn with any made hand worse than aces up? He can't have an ace with a flush draw. He might call turn raise with KsQs/KsJs/4s5s, but presumably those won't call river, unless I bet ridiculously small.

It may sound like the lamest thing ever, but I'd check the river quite a bit there with these stack sizes.

i dont get the check, and i don't get why people think a check is good, unless you think he's tight enough to fold a bare ace to a huge bet, which he isn't.

If he's a laggy player, why would be not be happy getting it in with 44, A10, Ak...he probably rejacks you a decent amount with AK anyway PF, so his range would have to be skewed towards 44, A10, or a hand that you beat, most likely AJish, KQ type hands. There's plenty of value in a bet here.

I'd most likely value bet here unless I'm playing someone extremely tight.

If he has a fullhouse, then he played it pretty tricky, which seems contrary to your assumption that he sucks.

Also, I think checking behind here is terrible for your image. But, my main game has been HU for a while--so maybe players at 6 max won't take note of that.

Villain would have never called the turn raise with A9 or worse, since hero is representing a much better hand than this. There is a possibility he had FD+pair+gut outs, but this hand missed and isn't going to call a significant river bet, even more so after the wild turn action. So you will probably only get called by better hands, that's why I think this is a pretty easy check.

You think it's more likely that a LAG coldcalls a big raise on the turn with a set/big two pair than just push? That wouldn't make a lot of sense on this board, especially since a push gets a good chunk of hero's chips, regardless of whether he calls or not.
