Default 2-5 NL hand Bellagio

Just sat down to 2-5 NL(200min-500max) at bellagio. Somewhat loose passive, good game. Avereage stack around 400-500. Two bigger stacks, one 900, and villian about 1500. Villian in sb, Hero in mp. Dealt AK, one limp, two folds, Hero raises to $25 with AKo. Hijack calls, button calls, villian repops to $125. Hero calls, other two fold. Flop comes A 8 3 rainbow. Villian checks, Hero bets $150, Villian check raises to $450. Hero????

Assuming you started ~$500 - it's an easy call for $225 more. He has to never be bluffing and never have AQ or AK for this to be a fold. Sucks when he has AA/88, but call.

Agreed.

Would you shove against the likely table bully? Or fold?

If I've seen him repop already once or twice in the session and I feel like he is LAGgy I shove pf. It's definitely read-dependent.

You have to call the flop C/R because of pot odds like others have said.

Would anyone ever check behind on this flop and possibly raise the turn? It's as dry as a bone. You'll make more from KK that way.
