i think calling and folding the river UI is reasonable here, i think he shuts down without the straight, and gives you decent implied odds if he does have it.

yea i would call. 22 more seems like s good price to ee one more card. you have what, 12 outs? the 2s,7s,4s,and 5s.

With those odds (and position), you can call the turn and re-evaluate river. He could easily have a onepair hand (88-TT, A5/A6, depending on how bad he is).

Deffo call turn. It looks like he's scared of the straight with a one-pair hand.

I'm usually just repotting the flop. I'm happy to get it in there.

does no one feel LAG is making this raise with air a good% of the time? low flop could be seen as missing you and bet on turn is standard IMO to steal, with him putting you on high un paired cards or poss a med pair. I def call turn. more likely re raise flop

THat's an interesting line. Is it for value or bluff? Against a bad lag, it would be more for value from worse two pair/ overpair, right?
