Re: KQ turns trips after flop cr
I think I fold pretty often on the flop, perhaps too much. Only reason im considering a call is the possibility of him check raising a draw.
As for the turn, it seems as though you almost commit yourself by calling on the flop, but why would the opponent do this on this card? I think he is shoving here knowing you have a K after you called the RR on the flop. And he isnt shoving knowing you have a K when your ahead.... |

Re: KQ turns trips after flop cr
I think this is fine. Flop call is debatable of course, but I want to see another solid bet out of him before I fold. On a drier board I can find a fold much easier.

Re: KQ turns trips after flop cr
Can someone explain to a SSNL fish why the flop action is close? I call this all day long without thinking...

Can someone explain to a SSNL fish why the flop action is close? I call this all day long without thinking... [/ QUOTE ] What could you possibly think he is reraising here? This opponent is not extremely aggressive so I dont think he is reraising mid pair or anything like that often if at all. So... his range probably looks like this: KJ, 44, AK (possibly), KQ (as a feeler), A10dd, some other 2 diamond hands, but remember you have the Q of d, and Q10 (possibly). He is also bluffing every so often but probably only about 10% of the time. With that said, the only thing we are ahead of are draws. I really dont feel like doing the math, but it will end up being a very close call. I prefer a fold often just because I know that im folding most turns to signs of aggression, which means that even though the numbers look like its close, they are somewhat decieving as he may be fairly likely to bet strong on the turn with draws and get me to fold, therefore my equity against these draws cannot be my true equity since im folding the turn often to hands that im beating. |

Re: KQ turns trips after flop cr
Turn is an instacall after that flop action. The flop is obv thin and player/read dependant, but you already knew that.

Re: KQ turns trips after flop cr
Fold is best here its 444 QUITE a lot or KJ. Openshove on turn when board pairs indicates they've prob filled from my experience IMO.
