I decided to post this because of the analysis of playing big A's in HOW MANY's AK hand. There's no comparison with regards to the action. Yet I think in terms of playing the hands there is. Maybe I'm nuts but I see it.
A good TAG raises in EP, folded to me in MP and I 3 bet AQd. H/U. Flop J85 all spades. Ch/ch. Turn 6x. He ch's I bet. He quietly see saws. Likely hates his call. River 2x Ch/f. |

I dont understand the river. You open mucked in position?
You should bet this flop about 70%. Obviously checking is fine also. |

Yeah, I would say bet the flop -- take a stab that he doesn't have a spade; if he doesn't you'll probably take down a 4BB pot with one small bet. If I checked the flop, I would check this turn, because you're not really representing anything very well with that turn bet.

The scariest thing to me is always when an aggro player checks behind on the flop after being the pf aggressor. It usually means big hand with the reasoning being that he should be betting most flops. |

[ QUOTE ] bet flop [/ QUOTE ] Think ch'ing in position is a better play. [/ QUOTE ] Against some players, maybe (obviously good against this one). But I think most players will bet the turn on any blank after you check the flop and then you have to fold. |

The willingness to put in extra bets on the big streets is where spewage and outplaying someone merge. |

Not my standard line but its kewl. I check behind on the river. When they hem and haw like that, its usually a weak hand possibly a low single spade. I don't think you get a pair to fold the river once they call the turn. I'm fairly sure you had the best hand on the river.
