Default Simple but frequent 3bet pot spot...

I (as most) often like to 3bet suited hands and with 100bb stacks it can often lead to situations like this. Villain is a TAG reg.

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $5/$10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $960
BB: $3212
UTG: $1698
MP: $1953.25
Hero (CO): $1038
BTN: $1012

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP raises to $35, Hero raises to $111, 3 folds, MP calls $76

Flop: ($237) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP checks

I flop a naked flush draw. If I pot the flop and get CRai, I have $680 to call to win $1400, essentially getting very close to the right odds to call for my probable 9-outer. Do people like a check here? If so, do you bet (if checked to) a 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] turn? What do you do if villain leads turn? What if stacks are closer to $1300 or $1400 where if you get CRai on the flop you have to fold?

Just wondering how people like to handle this situation..

Play the hand as you would play AK, AA, and KK in this spot- so bet ~$175. If he c/rai, you should fold, but you have to take a shot at this pot, and build it so in case he calls you can rele win something if you make your flush. If you're going t reraise with a hand like j8s, you can't check behind the flop when you have control int he hand and you get a pretty decent flop.

I disagree, but I won't explain until there's a bunch of responses..

I definitely like to mix in some checks here, they'll never believe you have the flush if you do hit.

i check a lot here... but i check alot of hands behind in reraised pots so it fits nicely into my game... i will fire the turn, which also fits in nicely to my game... i would call most turn bets because they will often be too small... i fire/check against certain types of opponents and it helps to make people think i fire/check against all types of opponents even tho its usually not the case...

I like a check.

It seems to me that if you're going to bet, you HAVE to call the shove. I mean think about it. If you're going to fold then it's a pure bluff. How then is your hand even relevant? You may as well have 23o.

You now get a free look at the turn, and if he was gonna cr/ai on the flop, he will surely go broke on the turn if you hit your draw. If you miss, then call up to a pot size bet or check behind again. Should he check again on the river, I probably make some kind of stab at the pot. This may be bad though, I haven't really thought too much about it.

I guess betting the turn is okay against a predictable player, but if he cr/ai here I throw up. We just lost our chance at winning a nice pot.

you have to bet this flop here, you can win the pot by bluffing many times, if called you can make your flush on the turn anyway, if raised you have odds to go allin

If you check flop 4 times out of 5 you dont make your flush on the turn, if villain bet the turn you have not odds with only a card to came and a semibluff is difficult to work because the money villain put in the pot yet.

pd: escuse me english so awful

If you check the flop here, I don't think you can profitably bet the turn if checked to again (unless a spade hits).

Without a solid read, I bet this flop.
