FTP 5.50 4 HANDED TRIP 10\'S
yo,
this is a hand i just played...what does everyone think? no rock solid reads here... push better than call on flop? should i have reraised PF? maybe just call on the flop figuring this could be a standard c bet...maybe he'll fire again on the turn, then i push perhaps (depending)? i really dunno...anyways...enjoy? Re: FTP 5.50 4 HANDED TRIP 10\'S
I think you should reraise PF. To me, 2xbb (aka minraise here) means that he probably has a hand that doesn't dominate you. I'd say you are probably on a coinflip with him or ahead. With 1010 I would reraise ~3x his bet preflop.
I would have pushed the flop too - I would hate letting them have a chance to hit their gutshot after flopping trips. And who knows, he could have hit his A with a good kicker or two pair and called your all-in. |

as played, push the flop but on the bubble I like re-raising with TT as well.

Make it 375 pf and push flop.
As played, lead this flop and get it in if raised. Push turn if called. |

Re: FTP 5.50 4 HANDED TRIP 10\'S
yeah, c/r let's him off the hook easily with even a hand like A5 or KJ.. i don't mind getting him in on a 3-outer if he's going to commit the chips himself.
re-raise pf, lead flop, call push. |

Re: FTP 5.50 4 HANDED TRIP 10\'S
Raise pf, then lead out with a weak bet--I think a check raise lets him know he's way behind and that makes it really easy for villain to lay it down. If he reraises you, go with the push. If he calls, push turn.
Basically, I'd want to make him pay for catching the gutshot, but that's up to you if you want to risk that by trapping him via check/calls. |
