Minneapolis, hands down, has one of the best radio stations I've heard. It's one of the best in the nation, and they stream. Check out Drive 105. If you're into alternative, and indie music, you'll like this station.
Show us some of your favorite local stations that stream online. |

Hamilton, ontario has some pretty decent stuff. When I am in toronto everything sucks. Really bad. There are times when I am switching between stations for 15 minutes trying to find something decent. You would think in a city of 3 million people there would be one decent station.

The Bert Show in Atlanta on Q100 (100.5) is ridiculously hilarious and entertaining. I get easily annoyed with radio talkshows but this one has me hooked.
However, I must admit I spend the majority of my time these days on my satellite radio. |

Austin, Tx has two great stations:
KGSR is the best for-profit radio station I've ever heard. Americana, roots, blues, good old rock and roll, they play it all. KUT is terrific public radio. Check out the Vault for literally hundreds of archived, in-studio performances by just about everyone. I will be listening to WWOZ this weekend on my way to and from Jazz Fest. I always get excited when I can pick it up on my way down I-10. Hearing Kermit Ruffins and the BBQ Swingers as you cross the big bridge will really get you in the right state of mind for N.O. |

Nothing's been really good in Philly since Eagle 106. Y100 (now yrock) was just the best of what's been offered since then; and they even took that away.
