i think so! he is chip leader after day 2 and 3 ... now sitting on 1.8 million...he is a master at protecting chips and making them grow after he accumulates a large stack. Don't think there is a better HOLD EM tourney player in the world..his style suits well for going deep in large field events...ESP when the stacks are deep.

yeah FT structure is HORRID....but his style suits well for getting there..when he gets there ...anything can happen...i also think they like the fast FT structure so it evens the skill so more amateurs win...which when amateurs win its good for the pros in a way because subsequent fields are larger and the overlay greater for the skilled pro

fast ft structure definitely helps the internet donks, but its not because of helping amateurs, they said its because of television timing even though they only put on certain hands so it makes no sense
he definitely can, he wont go on tilt and blow his chips like a matasow , now that he has chips he will need to get sucked out on or lose a big coin flip, like we have seen he wont play to get lucky |

I hope he wins. It would be nice to see him add a major WPT title to all his other wins.
As far as how he ranks as a NL tournament player, I don't see how you could say anyone else has been better in the last 15 years. His record is pretty amazing. |

I'm hoping that he comes in second to a suckout because it will be great TV.

If not this year then next. Its just a matter of time before the GREATEST POKER PLAYER OF ALL TIMES wins the WPT championship.

imper1um is pathetic, he wont be able to re raise all in for an m of 6 at the final table like he can on stars

Equal stacks and Donko button open raises with 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and Hellmuth reraises A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and Donko calls. Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hellmuth leads pot and Donko calls. Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hellmuth leads 3/5 pot , Donko pushes and Hellmuth does the patented Hellmuth insta "in your face" snap call. River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hellmuth asplodes. |
