Position and Hand as a guidline....
Question for all tracking software users. What position and what key hand are the most telling if you are playing well?
I personally believe the SB and AKo are the key stats that let me know I am playing well. I also believe how your stats are with 1 pair (all) is a key also. Thought? Or maybe there is another stat or stats beyond the normal.... |

Re: Position and Hand as a guidline....
Make sure you have a large sample size.
Look at your PPs, make sure you're winning with each of them. Suited connectors also. For position, you should be playing most of your hands on the button, and decreasing downward. UTG should be ~1/2 the VP$IP of Button or less. If VP$IP doesn't decrease that quickly, you aren't playing your position enough. I'm sure there is other advice others can give. But this is the broadest/easiest advice I can give. |

Re: Position and Hand as a guidline....
Well I was just wondering. As a quick guide to my overall play, My stats in these 2 catagories are quite a bit different, Usually break even when playing poorly or .25ptbb/100 in the sb,.50ptbb with AKo (still working on this, sometimes senseless Cbets into the wrong villians) or above when I'm playing well.
