$15 live, checkraise dangerous board with air
5 handed live sng
Villain is recklessly aggressive in position, I know that he is c betting any board checked to him in position He has been stealing my blinds at every opportunity, I decide to defend this time after being card dead for a while Villain is button: 8,000 SB: 4,000 Hero: 10,000 BB: 200 Hero dealt 7cTs 2 folds to Villain, raises to 600, sb folds, Hero calls Flop: AsKs6d pot: 1,300 Hero checks, villain bets 1,000, Hero raises to 3,000, villain calls turn: 4c hero checks, villain checks river: 4h hero bets 3,000, villain thinks for a long time, I talk to him and try to appear calm, villain folds after he folded I showed my hand to put him on tilt and he did stack off to me later on a trash hand My question is does my bet on the end look like a bluff or value bet? I had roughly 6-7,000 left and bet half of it to look like a value bet on the end, but after showing my hand another player at the table said "that was an obvious bluff." Is this the case of someone just talking outta his ass after the cards are shown? MY logic in the hand was that this man does not know how to build a pot or read a hand well, therefor if he hit a pair on the flop he would have come back over the top of me right there, his quick call let me know he had low spades. If I knew this should I have just pushed the river, or is betting half my stack, which is also half the pot, equally as effective of a move? |
