Default PokerTek tables comming soon to Harrah\'s properties?

Harrah's just announced a deal with PokerTek,says they will be at their properties soon pending regulatory approval.
Pokernews reports PokerTek and Harrah's deal

I've played on them on a cruise ship once and didn't mind them, however that may be because they were the only game in town. It will be interesting to see how they do in a B&M casino.

Yet another reason to avoid any and all Harrahs properties (like we really needed it).

I wonder what chance either PokerTek or Harrah's management will seriously read the various threads on this forum which describe in detail the PokerTek failure at Hollywood Park.

I'd bet on "fat chance" if there was a way to quantify it.

We could always e-mail those threads to Harrah's marketing director.

That might actually have an effect.

Yeppie now I can drive 40 minutes to stare at a screen and play computer poker just like on the internet !!!!

Woo Hoo !!!!

Or better still I'll just stay home and play 3 tables at once, rather than 1 game at a time, oh and at a lower rake.
Thanks Harrahs !!!!

Plus at home, I can play in my underwear!

I really hate Harrah's. They are not known as the "Wal-Mart of casinos" within the gaming industry for no reason.

If you've read my posts in the various Hollywood Park eTable threads you know I've been very critical of the way they were implemented and run. But in my experience the social aspect of playing at an eTable is just as good as a regular cardroom table, if not better. This may be more true in Los Angeles than other casino areas since in LA the dealers are usually afraid to interact socially at a table.

Sarcasm aside, you've hit the nail on the head. Point out reasons why something is idiotic and harrahs will either ignore it or give you more of it.
