Re: AK Flops Top Two, Line Check
I would consider flinging poo at my opponent on the turn. Dunno why.

I don't really think I played any street badly, just wondering if the suckout could've been avoided/lessened.

As to the second, do you really think it's a good idea to stop value-betting a strong hand against opponents that will call down with a 2 outer? |

I know, you're right, he had the death grip on that hand. In the long run I want him to play like this, it just stings a bit now.

Re: AK Flops Top Two, Line Check
Obviously you should check fold the river. But seriously, bad beats happen, and this beat is so mild it shouldnīt even sting. Donīt worry about it, though. Youīll get used to it. You just need to realize itīs part of the game. You canīt always win. Instead, concentrate on making the right decisions and money will take care of itself.

Next time beg him to fold the flop instead of calling when he has an 11% chance of winning the hand or the turn when he has a 23% chance of winning. Failing that, just check it down from the flop, that way you lose less. |

Re: AK Flops Top Two, Line Check
The only thing you did wrong in this hand was not dodge his outs on the river.
The only thing he did wrong in this hand was to call your flop bet. And yeah, this is pretty much just a bad beat thread. |
