I river a disguised 2 pair - now what?
Villain is a semi-regular (dunno if saying names here are okay so I'll keep it hidden), and he's running at about 20/11 so he's kinda passive. My turn call was pretty spewy/marginal, but I figured I had around 12 outs (only counted my 2 pair/trip outs as .5 just in case he had a higher 2 pair or a set [is that wrong?])
Should I lead or check this river? And if I check, should I raise this river or just flat call? I honestly have no idea what villain has.. flop check and turn raise was kinda fishy to me. i also have no idea what he has, which means there's probably a good chance he has some kind of air. i'm just calling river (and i like the check).

Re: I river a disguised 2 pair - now what?
Strange line from BB. Id expect a reg to bet flop with a strong Ace or 99. I dont think 11 pfr raises 33 or 22 PF here.
Turn bet is too small, turn call is OK I think. Lead river is better than C/C... |

I like leading this flop.
As played, your turn bet is too small, but I like your river play. Now call. |

Why do people prefer c/c river to lead?
I prefer lead because if he has raised turn for protection from flush draw, he may check an ace behind on the river. I cant understand why he'd play the turn like that with air. |

Re: I river a disguised 2 pair - now what?
So then why wouldn't a check/call be better? If villain decides I am bluffing a missed draw and raises with his raggedy ace, we fold the best hand.
I really don't think villain has much, but I've been wrong many times before so wouldn't a check/call to induce a bluff be best? |
