All my classes on two days? All my classes in the morning?

Right now, I have what most people would consider the perfect schedule. Class from 12:30 - 3:15 m-th, unfortunately 11-1:45 on friday (most people at nyu dont have friday classes.

It's really nice to wake up whenever the hell I want, but I also feel like getting out of class at 3:15 means half of the day is already gone. So...I'm considering making my schedule next year so that I will have classes in the morning (maybe 10-1:30 or w/e) and get out with plenty of the day ahead of me.

I also might try to schedule all of my classes on only two days, so that I can get an internship or job.

thoughts? should i stick with the late classes, or suck it up, wake up early, and actually be productive?

Its going to be pretty damn hard to schedule all your classes in the morning on only two days. There just aren't enough hours and the scheduling would have to be perfect.

From experience I can say that having all your classes bunch on two days is not a good thing. It's really hard to do work on days where you have no class at all, and the nights before class are usually hellish because you have like 5-6 classes the next day. Three days of class is pretty nice though. Obviously you'd want Fridays off so a Monday-Tuesday-Thursday or something similar would probably be best.

i think it will be hard to have monday tues thurs classes. Next semester i am taking 4 econ classes on tues-thurs. I hope it all works out.

I really liked the semesters where I could schedule all my classes on tuesday and thursday. That ended up being 8 hours of classes or more each day, but those days off were really nice.

i loved it this semester, 15 hours 8am - 2:50pm on tuesdays and thursdays and a 6pm class on tuesdays, the only downside is that i'm a horrible procrastinator so i ended up pulling a lot of all nighters monday night/tuesday morning because i refused to do any work over my 4 day "weekend"

If you want to get a job on the side, night classes are your friend. A buddy of mine has Monday night class, a crazy Tuesday day and night schedule, and Wednesday night class. He works 4 days a week FT.

I haven't had the opportunity to load all of my classes onto two days. But, I do have Fridays off, and having a couple longers days of classes is way better than more shorter days of classes, if that makes any sense.

I've been doing this since sophomore year. I'm the envy of all my friends. Three day weekend? Hell nah four day weekend every week mang. But you're pretty effed if you don't go to a day of class. Or just choose a major that doesn't require attendance, i.e. econ.

One semester I stacked all my classes on Tuesday and Thursday. So those days I went to school from 8am until 6pm without a break, but every single week was a 4 day weekend. It was the best; highly recommended.
