I feel like I'm wasting AA by raising pf

believe it or not image does matter to some degree. people will notice if u r raisin 18 or 19% to 9 or 10% and thus u get paid off better.

If you raise once every orbit you will get more action on your good hands. I have substantial sample sizes of both 17/13 play and 23/18 play and there's a huge difference not only in pre-flop action but also in getting paid off post-flop with monster hands.

derosnec I played with you last night (obv) and you had a really nitty image to me, you were running like 20/10/.5, when you seem that tight/passive everyone is going to fold every time you raise. Most of these guys only play one table and they will notice at a 6max table if you are only raising premium hands, no matter how bad they are.

You also want to raise because you'd rather play AA headsup in a bigger pot than multiway in a smaller pot where you can't price out drawing hands that inevitably will come along if you limp.

what's wrong with limp or raise smaller? unless we are mentally challenged postflop, we should be able to make $$ from the 50% of the AA hands that otherwise don't get to see a flop when we do raise 4xbb/reraise.

I understand the frustration, but all you have to do is look at the <font color="green">$$$$</font> under the AA heading in your PT [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

Oh, I promise you that image DOES matter....
