Help me decide a gift for my lawyer
Alright here is the short of it. I am in law school and before I went in, I worked on a judicial campaign and subsequently became close friends with the candidate. She won and her husband is also a lawyer. He over the last year, year in a half has gotten a previous MIP and tresspassing of mine, set aside and dismissed, I have not paid a dime and he did this without my asking! So I want to get him something as a thankyou.
Oh also the judge before she was elected represented me in a drunk driving charge, also of no charge, which he now says he is going to to work on! I am thinking about maybe getting him a nice bottle of scotch but I really don't know. He is well to do and pretty much has everything... so suggestions? |

ummm dont give him a gift?
he did this without you asking, so i think letting it be is fine. prob better that a politician is just doing a favor, rather than him getting something in return. |

I think the biggest gift you can give them is going into AA, so they wont have to deal with your lame BS anymore.

I got an MIP when I was 18, and the DUI at 23 I am now 27. I blew a .09 for my DUI which was actually charged an OUI. Does that clarify and distinguish myself enough from drunkards and other lowlifes for your pious opinion? |
