Default akss in position facing reraise from the blinds...seems close to me.

mattg1983 is very strong tight aggressive player. This is midway through the tourney.

I don't like shoving sice you only get calls by a better hand or a flip. Shove 60+ BBS with AKs can't be good.

You are deep enough for a call. Let's see what the flop brings.

Well our raise is from the CO so he can't be giving it that much respect. I personally like a call with position, if I think his range is tight-ish. The looser I think his range is the more likely I am to shove here. I don't think it can ever be a fold, because of the position we raised from

hmm, tough spot. its only 925 to call so you are only 15% invested and not in a lot of trouble if you whiff. are you assumming QQ+ here or AKs? I would try to flop an A or K. call and reevaluate IMO.

God, I hope not. Putting a TAG on a premium hand because he's re-stealing from the CO is pretty ridiculous

I agree with calling.

Im having trouble putting him on a range here to be honest. I guess potentially he could have 22+, AQ+. Ive seen him reraise and cold call with all of these hands in this spot.

I seriously doubt matt is restealing OOP against sheets with these stacks.

def less than 4.5k, he never just calls a 4-bet oop so if we 4-bet it has to be small enough that he has perceived FE

If the stacks were deep i might rereraise to induce a push or something but with these stacks your bet accomplishes nothing. Hes not pushing with a lesser hand.

Hmm. While I think shove is the best chance we have to win the pot, it's also a very high-variance move, and if it doesn't fold any hands we're ahead of, it's kind of fruitless. Your image is much tighter than mine would be here, so I assume if you 4-bet you'll be given more respect than I would be.

I don't think calling is bad, per se, it's just that so often you miss and then you turned your AKs into a -1400 chip endeavor. Assuming you have some idea of how you might win the pot postflop even if you don't spike an A or K or two spades, I don't mind calling.
