which HSP player so far has suprised you
by this i mean, the amount they are better or worse then you thought they would be.
for me, i'd say Antonio esfandiari. he's a great cash game player. picks his spots really well. knows when to mix it up and when to play solid. he's also a classy guy highlights: 'i'm out of position againts DN and gus hansen, i fold' with AQ knows he can pick better spots. if i was playing at that table i'd have to play super tight cos i'd be outplayed on the later streets Mattusow says whoever wins the next pot with 72 will win some money in a side bet. Antonio reraises with 72, takes the pot and then mucks. (mattusow later does the same and then shows, lol) Alexi alei (or whatever he's called) looks like a great player, but doesn't qualify cos i didn't know him before and had no preconceived ideas about how he plays. also doyle was awesome, a little better than i thought he would be, but i thought he'd be great anyway...... |

I agree with Antonio, he seems to know when and how to be aggressive and how to set a good image.

I agree about Antonio as well. He plays great, has many styles, seems like a classy, friendly guy and always seems to be having fun.

Re: which HSP player so far has suprised you
Its gotta be Esfandiari. Before HSP I thought he was just another tournament player, but he plays cash games great. He plays TAGish, reads hands well and is very good about using his image against others. He might not be as good as Brian, but on HSP Antonio has been more impressive. We need to see more hands from Townsend.

Yup I would say Antonio for sure. Also Mike Matusow, love him or hate him, when he is on his game, he plays VERY good. He would be rich if he had self control by not betting sports and knowing when he's playing good and when he's playing bad.

Brian, and it's not even close.
He is by far the most impressive player on the show yet. |

[/ QUOTE ] BRAD BOOTH HAS BEEN SOLID AND UNDERSTANDS HOW TO USE HIS BIG STACK (he bought in for $1 million) A Esfandiari has also played well...sniffs weakness better than most william chen, jamie gold, and Dr Nasseri should not be invited back |
