Default Wheee, I\'m a calling station! Final table.

No reads, he hasn't played a hand in the orbit final table has played.

I'm interested in opinions on the flop especially. I used my timer and opted to check call for pot control since it's such a wa/wb situation. I think there are arguments for a lot of lines.

Why do you check the flop? As played you obviously need to call the river.

As I saw it, it was the only conceivable way to extract if I'm ahead.

Generally I hate being a mid stack on the final table. I'd much rather be either tiny, or a monster.

As for calling the river, it was a no-brainer. I was mostly looking for flop criticisms.

The preflop repop is also not entirely standard, but I'm happy with it.

I don't like this at all. You're playing the virtual nuts in a reraised pot like you have A6s or a scared KK. I think you're losing a ton of value.

As played, calling is obvious because we are almost always ahead but I think there is a lot of value in a shove.

I meant for ease of play.

I'd rather gamble a little (by checking this flop) in this hand and be either extremely big or extremely small. It makes decisions easier for the rest of the ft. Either I'm a pushbot ministack, or a monster robber. For me, either of these is much easier than playing poker as a midstack.

Really? So what happens when we pushbot our ministack, double up and become a midstack? Are we then not happy because it's more complicated to play? hmmmmmm

As played this is an easy call. Raising is an option, but thats super thin.

I don't understand check-calling this flop. Raise somewhere, get some [censored] chips in the pot, you've got the winner.
