Default Definition of a loose game in PL Omaha?

My basic question is what would you all consider to be a "loose" game, say in terms of view-flop percentage and pot-size in a small stakes game? Would this also be true of Omaha/8?

I ask because I am ready to jump into both games by playing like a nit and then opening my game up gradually. I am not certain that that criteria that defines a loose game in NL Hold 'Em is the same as that of Omaha.

i would say that a full table at Omaha the flop % are about the same as hold em, maybe a 45% as an average. O8 would be slightly lower as fewer hands are playable. My advice if you are just starting would be to play full tables instead of short where you can get run over by skilled maniacs, and for a brief but concise introuction to the game read the PLO section in SS

a loose game is when people play a large amount of hands and tend to put a lot of money into the pot on some or all streets. The numbers you can figure out yourself.

Where do you see Holdem games with that percentage? I'd consider 27% in full ring nlh as loose these days.

Loose games are irrelevant. What you're interested in is loose players. I hope you understand the difference.
