Another spot where I was too passive I think.
Full Tilt Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com saw flop|saw showdown Hero ($1767.70) BB ($783.30) UTG ($400) MP ($237.60) CO ($306.50) Button ($317.50) Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]], K[[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]]. 4 folds, Hero raises to $12, BB calls $8. I'm obviously turbo-folding if a heart comes. I figure he's either got a set, or a flush draw. The only problem is, I don't know if he has hidden outs, like with 6h7h or Ah3h. Turn: ($124) Q[[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] (2 players) Hero checks, BB bets $100, Hero calls $100. In a way, the Q on the turn changes nothing (except giving me outs vs 44), I'm still usually ahead, and he usually has outs. Stacks are awkward for a turn CR, this deep. This might be a good spot to bet/call, because maybe I can induce him to raise a draw? But I'd hate to get stacked 200bb by 33/44. If he has a flush draw, seems like he should have taken his free card. I don't know how often he will three barrel a busted flush draw. I usually fold to his third barrels (because I usually give up with TPWK or MP), so I don't have much information on them. River: ($324) J[[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] (2 players) Hero checks hoping to snap off a third barrel. |

Any reads/stats on the player? How are we supposed to give analysis without this?
Firstly i raise more preflop (since you are deep) and bet more on the flop, like 75-80% of the pot. Why are you so quick to put him on a flush draw, and rule out air or straight draws etc? |

I think you're deep enough here that you should be raising, not calling the turn.

gross - raise the turn or bet the turn vs. LLL every time
don't wait for sixth street to get the money in |

I'd 3-bet the flop and snap call a push. Or raise the turn. Given your line, river check is clear. Easy call if he bets.

I'd definitely check raise or bet/3bet the turn. Check calling is pretty disastrous. As played, river check is ok. |

Either bet or c/r the turn. c/c is really bad there.

For those who lead turn, how much? For those who CR, how much? I mean, if I CR to 300, and he calls, I'm frozen on the river.

I believe I had a flush draw on this hand if I recall. You need to either pot or c/r the turn but betting is def>c/r imo. check/calling is horrible esp this deep. With top 2 vs an aggressive player you need to try get all the money in there asap. You can't let my flush get there for free.
