QFT.

I'm really starting to think that Mike Conley Jr. is going to be a deadly NBA player.

NBADRAFT.net has him as a lottery pick next year. Wouldn't suprise me at all. Can't really compare him to anyone but he's very good at distributing, but I've really yet to see a jumper, something most players need in the NBA. I guess he can develop one.

this attitude is killing the NBA IMO, it's not your fault but I see this [censored] all the time. so much drafting on upside and potential, and not enough drafting complete players. pisses me off to no end, and it's why I can't watch pro ball anymore.

Its funny....I was watching tonight's final 4 with a good buddy of mine who is a big college fan. And before the games started we got into a NBA vs college debates. Once the games were going on I pointed out to him how slow paced and boring the college games were. Seriously, during both games it was as if the teams were wearing down 20+ seconds of the shot clock doing nothing but passing around the perimeter and then looking to attack.

I would challenge anyone who likes basketball but claims to dislike the NBA...watch a NBA game and a college game back to back and truly compare the two. The NBA game is far superior.

As for this post, I'm not really sure what you're arguing. Sure the NBA drafts on potential, but they only give those guys limited minutes until they're truly ready to contribute.

In college, the players try harder all the time.

I haven't been very vocal around these parts as of late, but I have been saying this since the OSU UNC game in December.

I agree. He reminds me of a young Joe Dumars, kind of. But potentially better.
