Stars modding

Has anyone figured out a way to block Stars from updating the files every time you change them? So [censored] annoying; can't see why I shouldn't be able to use my own images. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

I have the same problem on FT and find the best solution is just to zip the graphics folder after I make modifications and extract it after updates.

Stars detects any changes every time you run it, downloads the 'correct files' and overwrites the changed ones.

start pokerstars with the pokerstars.exe, and not with pokestarsupdate.exe, this works for me i think

This is what I do
create a batch file to copy your changed files, run pokerstarsupdate.exe file, then paste your changed files back after the update

You can -- but you have to do it properly.

if your just modding the themes, then the link above is what you're looking for. PokerStars accomodates an infinite number of Custom Themes. I think I currently have 795 total [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
