One night in Vega
On our way to LA for spring break with the Family. We're spending one night in Vega (Sat 3/31) and I'm looking for advice on the juiciest card room. I’m not really interested in tournaments, I’m looking to play some 1 2 NL or 4-8 / 6-12 Limit game. My plan is either MGM, Ceasars or Mandalay Bay, but if there are better places to find some good games please let me know.

Re: One night in Vega
Without a doubt, you're going to miss the very juiciest place in town if you don't go to the Silver Nugget. You'd just crush the game there.

Re: One night in Vega
At first glance I thought this post was about a new gay porn featuring Vega of Street Fighter fame.

Re: One night in Vega
I thought it was a story about going busto and having to spend the night in his Chevy Vega because he couldn't afford a room. Now it appears he left his family in the Vega while he went to play cards. Classy.

Re: One night in Vega
The title at least made me start humming "one night in bancock" to myself...
So I went and downloaded the song. Thank you OP |

Re: One night in Vega
*I* thought this would be about emergency overnight surgery on heroin addict/Jackrabbit Slim's Dance Contest co-winner Vincent Vega.

[/ QUOTE ] All these places should be fine, games all about equivalently good. I believe MGM and Mandaly have 4/8 limits while Caesar's has 3/6 & 6/12. Mandalay uses half blinds ($1/$2 on the 4/8 game). MGM and Caesars cardrooms both at least twice as large as Mandalay. |
