Cripplefish0wned (warning B&M content
PLayed a few hours live last night at Sky City Auckland
(Beat - couldn't get at seat at the big game, $100/$200 nl Brag - played the next highest, $60/$100 nl) So I sit next to a guy in a wheelchair, who tries to buy in for $500. He is quite handicapped, with limited motor skills, and struggles to speak/handle chips. So obv I figure he is Stephen Hawkins lookalike with Aba-like poka skills, and regret sitting to his right, but whatever. First hand, he gets it all in with 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]j [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on a board that reads K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], announcing he has the str8. 2 pair dude goes to fold, then realises there is no str8. SHL says, with difficulty, that he misread the board. So, to speed up the game, and cos it is kinda awkward, I help him out reading the board, and announce his action for him (the dealers were pretty good too but couldn't hear him) while everyone else plays "stack-a-donk", which is kind of funny cos everyone is retarded anyway...it is just the short bus v the shorter bus. So he is down to his last hundred when 7 limpers see a flop of QQA. SHL bets (actually he pushes chips with difficulty, which is kind of painful cos his bets are often way too big by accident and he seems keen to not slow the game down any more than he already is) Some douche with a Q puts him all in, and he shows his very predictable A9. River A, table cheers, and he finally wins a hand So now he has $200, I have about the same, and need to go pick up my daughter from water polo practice. I get dealt AK on the button, blah blah cheow mein, and it is me and SHL who see a flop of A K 7 Rainbow. He bets, I raise, he goes all in and I call. Turn blank, river 7 and I have been paid 50c to babysit a handicapped dude for 2 hours while he pays off the rest of the table As I go to leave, he says with difficulty, "I knew I would get you" LOLZ No I will not post pics of daughter |

Re: Cripplefish0wned (warning B&M content
I love how whenever you post about B&M, a bunch of morons with the deduction skills of a tree stump pick holes in the detail.
Sky City Auckland spreads a $1/$2 nl game, where the maximum amount one can buy in for is $100 dollars, and the minimum one can buy in for is $60. They spread a larger game, which is $100/$200, with slightly larger blinds. Both of these games are, in reality, small. Hence my sarcastic reference to the "big" game The guy had A7 |

However, my comment that these are the shallowest stacked cash games in the world can't be too far off the mark. 50 BB maximum buyin doesn't sound too appealing. The great thing about playing live should be the opportunity to play really, really deep. But each to his own. Sick hand and hilarious comment from yer man on the way out btw. |
