For someone who actually knows: Does this really make a difference. If so, how can you make the setting permanent?

[/ QUOTE ] Why do you have to go through C+A+Del to do that? Right click task bar......select task manager. |

[/ QUOTE ] My puter, which is admittedly old, goes into restart after CTL-ALT-DEL is pressed....only going into task manager if a program is not responding. I assumed others did as well....if I'm wrong, I apologize to the OP. So yeah, I did know what I was talking about but I made an incorrect assumption. Peace in the Middle East. |

Re: CTL-ALT-DEL Change priority on FT to high
Wow, what bizzaro OS and its settings are you using over there Coy?
I cant think of a single windows, well since 95, that doesnt default to some kind of task manager when ctrl-alt-del is hit. So does this work for every poker program, how do you make it permanent? What is realtime? It is above High so must be bigger right? Am i right in thinking this sets priorities for how the processor and memory is used, so if two programs want to run a process at the same time, the one that is higher runs first (extrapolated out to hundred processes at once etc) |
