Default Tough Year.

I've played most of you this year on stars, and am now asking for some help. My game it appears is in the gutter, and i need some help with my leaks/play/whatever.

I ran really well in Jan and ran my account up to about 16k, i thought i could start taking shots @ 5/10 and they didn't go so well. One particularly bad night, I thought, move up, chase losses, why not? hence the 10/20 and 25/50. I never belonged in those games and was scared money. Hence, i lost even more. Great. Since then its been a struggle. I returned to 3/6 feeling horrible after a -8k day. Bad play ensued and my account dropped to about 2.4k (Hand 35k) I dropped to 2/4 and played well and ran it up again. Started playing 3/6 again and did horrible again. Lose another stack or two chasing @ 5/10, and that brings us to the valley of despair. Recent came out of it with a hot little 2/4 run, but then i tried 3/6 again and managed -2800 in 230 hands. These last couple days have been brutal, losing nearly every RR'd pot and then making some retarded tilt plays. So I'm back to square one and am asking for help with reducing tilt, and patching, hopefully, some of my leaks. Thanks all, and hopefully, see you at the tables.

I'll post my PT stats later if you wish. They'll probably help.

oh, and i'll be @ 1/2 so if you see me higher yell at me.

honestly, 1/2 is just so soft
when I played there in Jan, I made almost the same hourly as I made at 3/6, stay there. The gamess are great and variance is low.
I'm only playing 3/6 to become much better, reach nova elite.
But if you are looking to build a roll, get out of this gutter, grind a couple 10K months at 1/2.
good luck, it is tough to hear about a peer having tough luck.
also, play more hands.

Thanks Catcher,
thats the current plan is to do at least one 10k month @ 1/2. I said that earlier, but moved up to 2/4 and was doing well until recently. I'm sure my hourly is better @ 1/2, as I'm losing @ 3/6.

well, it seems pretty obvious what levels you're winning/losing at... so maybe stick to the ones where you're a winner?

Everybody been through stretches like that (February for me though I still turned a profit).

My best advice is to look for a limit you're successful at and stay there. If you move up when you are tilting its a recipe for disaster.
