Can someone verify this?
OP - you mean to say party won't accept Neteller deposits from Canadians, not Party is no longer accepting Canadians right? The latter would probably friggin give me a heartattack. |

yes, like title says, NETELLER closed to canadians. Effective immediately. I called their hotline after my attempted deposit said, "method not availble from your location" or something.

Bobo,
Doh, you're right ipoker won't let me. I'm going to call them right now and see if they will override it and allow the transaction. By the way, have you figured a way to contact moneybookers? I can't find an email address and I don't want to call longdistance to the UK either. Thanks |

Last year I deposited $250 via NT in ipoker site BetFred and ran it up to about $1k. Provided I kept the $250 in, they let me take out the excess by UK £ cheque (handy for me as I'm a UK player) |

Here is a possible answer.
Ronnie: Hello Darcy, this is Ronnie from VIP. Ronnie: Due to an internal business decision, as of March 26th, 2007, InstaCASH will no longer be a deposit option for Canadian NETELLER members. Effective April 9th, 2007, Canadian NETELLER members will no longer be able to transfer funds to or from any online gambling sites. Darcy: hello Darcy: yes Ronnie: which website are you trying to transfer it to Darcy: the problem is i am trying to do a regular transfer from neteller to party (not instaCASH) and it says it will not allow me because of my location Darcy: www.partypoker.com Ronnie: To our knowledge, partypoker.com is no longer a merchant of NETeller. Darcy: odd, it is still listed as an option on their deposit screen Darcy: perhaps they just havent disabled it Ronnie: We are trying to find out more information in regards to that matter at this time, sorry for the inconvenience. rJ_ |

I would think they are doing this because they don't want to risk their customers having their money froze by Neteller after what happened to US players.
And I know it is a different situation but Neteller can't be on the best financial grounds and better safe than sorry. |
