To become an expert unlimited hold them player one must learn to apply pressure by firing what is known as a double barrel bluff because KK and JJ 3-bet preflop and you would expect him to raise such a drawy flop with a real hand.

If you don't want to definitely bet the turn, it's probably not wise to bet the flop - as in a family pot situation your cbet is gonna catch at least one caller.
I'll check this flop at times. Anyways, as played, bet turn - kit summed it up nicely. |

No way do you CF here. Second barrel is a must. I'd bet about 80-95 here, leaning toward more rather than less. You have an overcard and a flush draw, with the natural FE that comes from an UTG raise. You know he doesn't have AA/KK/JJ in all likelihood, and you're not dead even if he does.
If you're not going to 2 barrel here, when are you going to?!?!? |

Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($110, 2 players) orange c/fs? [/ QUOTE ] I'm probably not as strong a player as you, but WTF @ folding?? Decent players know how to fold, and decent players know to raise the flop on a drawy board with a monster hand. I like a c/r on the turn here for those reasons. We rep a monster hand by doing that, as well as fold out already made hands (88-TT/AJ/KQ). On top of that, we have a bunch of outs. If he ever floats, all the better. |

i botched this hand bad. after looking back at it, bet/call and c/r ai both work. i think villan would raise a set/2p nearly always ont he flop. i had a brain fart and c/f-ed to his shove.
