If you don't feel that you can call a c/r in hand 1 maybe it would be better to check behind on the flop?

If you don't feel that you can call a c/r in hand 1 maybe it would be better to check behind on the flop? [/ QUOTE ] Checking is probably better against a more aggressive opponent when it may induce a bluff (although against an aggressive opponent I'd probably call/push a flop c/r happily). Against this particular opponent, I think betting for value might be best. If I do check vs. this guy, it would probably save me money when I'm beat, but it lets him possibly catch up cheap too on a drawy board - I think a bet/fold is probably best, but it's close. |
