Default QTo vs maniac. Am I chicken?

Villain is a full blown maniac 75/50/2.5 over 100 hands. Goes way too far all the time. The other guy is a standard fish (47/5/1).

Should I keep jamming the turn or slow down? The flop call-3bet from the maniac made me think at least he had some sort of hand.

Not too much really. Villain was constantly playing out of tempo, but the call-3bet on the flop was weird, even for him. I sort of started thinking he might actually have me beat, which would basically mean a set (prob 2's).

i mean yeah, small set comes to mind, but he could straight draw, pair plus a couple small draws, flush draw, pair plus flush draw, two random pair, who knows. with those stats his range is pretty wide and we're ahead of it. sometimes these guys limp then 3bet if it gets raised, to try and be aggro and take control of the hand or whatever (and it's not a bad play actually with a flushdraw).

nh. I put villain on AQ.

For learners like me: Why cap flop and b/c turn and not cap again?

C'mon. 3bet the turn. Top two vs someone who has shown this much aggression over 100+ hands is a HUGE hand and you've got a player trapped in between to pad the pot anyway. I'm getting 4 bets in on the turn always here -- you simply CANNOT fear monsters from a 75/50/2.5 player. Ever.

Call/raise on the flop looks like a set, looks like you caught your 3 or 4 outer on the river.

Ok, thx for the replies. I'd normally cap the turn myself, but the call-3bet sort of stunned me, so I guess I turned into a weakling.

It may also be AA-KK, maybe even JJ. I seen so many players like this play an overpair this way (even the river cap). They cant fathom that their pretty AA is beat on this board.

But it really could be anything, grow a sack and 3 bet that turn.
