Default Jman article in Bluff

Link

The article is a good read, way better than most strat articles in bluff/cardplayer. It's also going to be in the latest edition of bluff. Anyways I suggest you take a look.

Phil sent me this article right after he finished it a month ago, and I immediately knew it should be a feature in our magazine. I thought and still think it is one of the more thoughtful and interesting poker reads out there.

Jman really is the man.

at first I thought it was gonna be obvious EV$ calculations with hand range but you did a great job of explaining how you adjust your hand range to opponents to make mistake, probably best NL article I've read in a while. now that I know you are good at articulating your thoughts I'm looking forward to that april tournament.

It does beg the question of where his name comes from....

I think it was Irieguy that said when he first found out that Jman's name was Phil he "knew he would be an awesome dude"

Default minor math error

It's a great read.

There's a slight error in the initial allin example though; opponent's K9 reduces the Bayesian probability that hero's holding KQ, so the overall win is slightly less than what the article suggests (I get $1278).

The later example, vs. AJ clubs, accounts for villain's holding reducing the chances of certain of our holdings.
