Default Home Run Pool

I'm entering a Home Run Pool and need to pick a "wildcard" from both the AL and NL. the wilcard has to not be on our list, which means 23 or fewer HRs last season. Last year was easy picking Thome in the AL and I had Francouer in the NL.

This season I was thinking Duncan in the NL and Matsui in the AL. Anyone got any better ideas with some country strong rookie or a guy Im forgeting about that was hurt most of last season?

TB's Gomes has to be a better choice than Matsui, doesn't it?

NL: Derrek Lee or maybe even Jose Reyes, Duncan not shabby either.
AL: I like New's suggestion in Gomes over Matsui.

This is a north side of Chicago pool, so almost everyone will have D lee. I happen to be a White Sox fan, so picking a Cardinal is more my style.

Duncan will probably hit 22 this year, imo.

He hit 22 last season and only played in 90 games....kinda similar to Ryan Howards numbers from 05.

Isn't the idea to win. Do you really think Duncan is going to hit more than Lee?

This sounds like fun. What are the rules exactly for something like this? Might bring it up at my fantasy draft in a week.

I think he has a shot...and if everyone else has Lee...and I pick him too I have nothing to gain in that slot.
