Default River Value

Stars 4 handed 2/4

Button open raises and I 3 bet As6s in SB he calls. Button is Piejay. He's kinda on the passive side for most guys in this game and I don't think he's great.

Flop Q 6 2 rainbow I bet and call his raise. Turn is 7s giving me flush draw and I check call. River is offsuit 6 and I c/r and 4 bet his 3 bet. Valuetown or spew?

will he pay you off with k6 here?
I assume so, since you 4 bet.
lets see there's k6, j6, T6, 96, 86, 56, 46, 36 that you beat.
I think he probably doesn't open 36 46, T6, or j6 like ever.
So seeing as tho you only have beat and get paid off by k6, 96, 86, or 56 i think 4 betting is complete spew.
You really think he has those 4 hands often enough to 4 bet?
I think 22, 77, q6, 76 are just as likely, if not more likely given the action.

depends how passive he is, never played 2 4 stars, maybe depends on how he is running/playing right now

i like your line.
when im playing bad ill c/r turn, but calling is the better play. and i like the river c/r 4 bet.

On the other hand...
i dont bet 3/bet enough, but would this be a spot to do it on the river or is that way too transparent?

i wouldn't 4 bet in the heat of battle, but when you stop and think about it, it looks like you squeezed value out, nice play i think

4 bet online pretty easy with no chance of 5 bet. Live could go either way.

i like the river 4 bet. more ways he has a 6 and plays it just like that than the boat. either one he 3 bets your c'r with and calls your cap (i dont think he folds 65 here).

plus he can't 5 bet so you dont lose anything but that last fraction of a bet if it isn't correct. but i ithink it is and i like it.

looks like he had some lower six.

Piejay probably has 22. His game doesn't consistently involve raising mid pair on the flop, he'll generally call with it from my experiences. I would not cap vs him.
