Default $6.5 Q4 5 handed push check

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t400 with t25 antes (5 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t1364)
CO (t6008)
Hero (t1465)
SB (t1730)
BB (t4433)

Preflop: Hero is in Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
<font color="gray">UTG folds</font>, <font color="gray">CO folds</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to t1440 (All-in)</font>

sb and bb both seem like reasonable players nothing maniacal

Plug this in to SNGPT, this can't be +EV. I don't have it yet but the range is smaller than this for sure.

That's what it is when the villains are calling pushes with the top 18%. Of course it's wider if they are tighter or looser.

i think the problem with this spot is that it becomes more and more difficult to find +ev pushes if we fold this hand short of waking up with a huge pair

Not sure I understand you. But as your stack gets smaller, there will be more hands you can push with, not fewer. No reason to get panicky at this point.

Dude, this is way too tight. This hand is +.3 with SB on
22+,A2s+,A2o+,KTs+,KJo+,QJs and BB on 22+,A2s+,A2o+,K8s+,K9o+,QTs+,QJ,JTs

Neither is probably calling quite that loose either.

My fault, I keyed in the wrong blind sizes. Disregard my previous posts.
