Early this morning the 100-200 gets 3 handed. I'm on the SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Grinder raises I call and young aggresive kid 3 bets on the BB, call, call.
Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I bet kid folds Mike raises and I call. Turn 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I bet again, Grinder raises, I 3 bet fearing that he folds but to my surprise he 4 bets. What is the best play here? At this point he can have the Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] a set or a complete bluff, Best way to extract more money? |

I'd 3bet preflop instantly. I'd 5bet the turn now but I've seen miz play absolutely horribly. If the board is right (i.e. you have 2nd nuts currently) I'd probably 5 bet and call down vs a 6bet but it's close.

Bet Again: If you call and then what check raise the river??
And hope he comes over again. Just fire at the monkey get at least another 2 bets out of him this way. If he has the 8h6h, whilst definately a hand he would play this way it's just a cooler. He has the Qh though and will just call you dowm. |

![]() Qh on the river is damn scary, but i cant see it changing how you play it. You ultimately make the decision to call down on the turn, and the Qh just makes you feel a bit worse about it. From what ive seen (and heard from those who actively stalk him online at those stakes), I'd feel fine about putting in a 5th and 6th bet on the turn. |

god i dont get poker how can he have something besides the nuts or air here? [/ QUOTE ] I'm just going by how I've seen miz playing lately. He may play live a lot differently than he donks around when he plays 150/300 at Absolute, but there he's been playing ridiculously bad. Lots of weird spazzy bluffs and being completely unafraid to put in 4 bets with Q6o vs players who are calling him down 100% of the time sort of spazzy. Not quite maniacal, but trying to move people off of hands and also being unable to fold hands spazzy. Rob |

The Queen of hearts did not hit on the river. OP put villian on having Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or possibly a set. |

I really want to call and bet/3 the river here as long as the board doesn't pair. If you 5 now then I don't see you winning much more money if he's drawing dead, unless he's just playing awful and hating money.

Call and bet/call the river. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, this is probably better than 5betting now vs miz. I retract my earlier answer to 5bet now. |
