I thought this would be a fun post, just to see how poker has affected our lives in different ways, I imagine there will be all different responses both positive/negative.

If it wasn't for poker:

I'd still be living at home with my parents
I'd still work a at a job that I hated
I would be much more frugal with money
I wouldn't care as much about material possessions
No cool vacations [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
My parents would probably be happier with me
I wouldn't be as lazy
I would be extremely depressed and in debt.

I would be a broke college student
I would be looking for a summer job
I would be going to Boston for the summer instead of TStone in May/July

I wouldnt be living in an awesome apart in sight of Fenway
I wouldnt have packed up and lived in the Northwest for 6 months
I would likely be broke as a joke
I wouldnt have enjoyed college as much
I would have likely never been out of the country

I wouldn't have built a sweet ass house
I wouldn't be buying a 06 Lexus IS 350 next month
I wouldn't be able to go out all the time and spend money like its nothing
I wouldn't have been to Vegas on 8 different trips
I wouldn't be as outgoing and confident as I am now
I wouldn't have as much free time to be able to just hang out and have fun
I would possibly have figured out a nice business that I wanted to start and would be working 60-80 hours a week trying to get that off the ground
I would probably more than likely though be working for my parents lucky to be making 40k this year

the only thing I can think of is that I would have less money, and that has pretty minimal effects. biggest thing I can think of is I would have to find a job for this summer, which I have been really lazy about. really hasn't been that significant for me other than giving me a ton of security and just not worrying about money at all. I dont buy things though.

I might actually be dead or at least have no future and no prospects for one. Best case scenario I'd be making $10 an hour still and scraping to get by while I try to finish my degree. I'd probably be a huge junkie of some kind.
