Default Could Bush Be Re-Elected?

Last night, my friends and I were talking about the upcoming election and the different candidates. One of them posed the following question: Most people did not expect Bush to be re-elected in 2004. If George Bush were allowed to run for the Presidency again in 2008, could he possibly be re-elected?

Is Patrik Antonius also running? You may need a new poll.

nobody thought he could be re-elected last time either. that said, his image is even worse now, and he almost lost last time. seems like an open and shut case.

exactly what we thought. last election, we were pretty sure there was no chance he would be re-elected. but sure enough, somehow it happened. in 2000, it was close, and his image declined throughout the next 4 years. then, in 2004, it was again close, but he still won.

Nobody, yep, nobody. That is, unless you count the 62,000,000 people who voted for him.

unless he's running against a black guy and a woman.

seems like whoever the Republicans stick in there is a shoe in thanks to the closet racists in this country.

Today's lunch:

Leftover corned beef, taters, cabbage, carrots, and parsnips on one piece of toasted rye - sort of like a thanksgiving leftover sandwich but with boiled dinner instead of turkey, etc.
