Crabs, Why I don\'t need to advertise.
Online 5-10 game.
Pretty standard cast of characters, noone involved in this hand seems like they are out of line, in fact, I am thinking about leaving the game shortly. UTG+1 limps, UTG+2 limps, CO raises, Button folds, SB folds, I call in the BB with 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], and both limpers call. Flop 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I check, I'm thinking about checkraising the flop at this point in time to see what happens, but it gets checked through. Hmmmmm. I suspect strongly, that CO has AK, and he doesn't bet AK into a four player field if he misses. Turn, Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet, the two limpers fold. CO calls. We could almost stop this here, what hands do you put CO on now? River 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] This can't be a bad card for me. What's your play now? |

Re: Crabs, Why I don\'t need to advertise.
- Probably not a smallish PP because they wouldn't have raised preflop
- Probably not a mid or big PP because they would've bet the flop. - Probably not a suited connector below K-Q because they wouldn't have raised preflop. - A-K seems likely. A-J, A-10 possible. - A-Q or K-Q maybe if he's looking to keep you in to the river. So, a check to elicit a bluff? |

Check call trying to induce. I don't see how betting would have any value here.

Re: Crabs, Why I don\'t need to advertise.
He doesn't have a Q. He probably turned a draw. He'd have bet a pair on that flop.
Check/call the river. A lesser hand might bet this thinking you were betting a turned draw. b |

Re: Crabs, Why I don\'t need to advertise.
He's checking behind with like all his A high hands here. What hand could he possibly bet with that we beat? c/c is asking to get valuebet by his queen and never getting any value from his ace high hands. b/f is my line.

Re: Crabs, Why I don\'t need to advertise.
c/c against most of those described as "standard cast of characters" in an online 5/10 game. they bet more worse hands than they'll call with when checked to on that board. nh. i like the plan for the flop c/r; sucks it checked through.

[ QUOTE ]
value bet [/ QUOTE ] if this player isn't betting AK on this flop he's not betting the river with AK. c/c is going to be a losing play against this guy. value bet |
