It was amazing. I followed it on Cardplayer 'til it was over. I hope J.J. is ok. We heard she went to a "medical facility" after the show. Could you get us an update?

We've just hit the WPT record for most hands at a final table.

Is the structure better these days?

Bay 101 was a unique case.

I was told that because Day 3 ended with the blinds at 5K-10K, WPT allowed tournament director Matt Savage to start the TV final table at 5K-10K instead of the 15K-30K as required by the WPT-mandated final table blind structure.

As a result, the players got to play 2 additional levels, which accounted for the length of the final table.

The final table started shortly after 5pm but did not end until 2:10am.

Please refrain from posting insensitive comments or taking your daily cheap shot.

As Joanne J.J. Liu's agent since last October, I can confirm media reports (by CardPlayer.com and WorldPokerTour.com) that J.J. was indeed in pain throughout much of the TV final table and that she had to be transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment shortly after the tournament ended. J.J. missed all the post-tournament festivities.

Until I am authorized by J.J.'s husband/manager Dan Alspach to submit a statement on their behalf to worldpokertour.com, I cannot comment further.

Please respect J.J. and Dan's need for privacy at this time. Thank you very much.

There must be some invisible writing I missed, because there is nothing insensitive or any cheep shots in anything you quoted.

People like taking shots at Oliver over other stuff. I think that's his only point.
