Atlantic City Trip Report (hookers and mugging featured)

So I had been planning to make my first run to AC in a while (and the first since I turned 21) over Spring break. I planned on just going with a couple girls I know and playing poker while they did whatever, but the girls canceled.

My friend who was starting a road trip to Georgia (...) ran over some piece of metal that tore up the underside of his car, so he was diverted to AC. I thusly planned on staying with him and getting wasted while gambling.

My friend immediately demonstrates the lack of validity behind the gambler's fallacy, and within 24 hours of his car getting messed up, he finds a $500 chip on the casino floor. He plays a bunch of roulette with a friend of his roommate's, whom I'll call Russ (because that's his name). They're doing pretty well, while I bleed away money at low stakes (2/4-4/8).

Last night after some drinking and dancing I sit down to play and start hitting on the girl next to me, who wasn't really cute or responsive. Bitches ain't [censored] so I kept enjoying myself. A comedian named Joe (who was performing the next night at the Trop apparently) kept making jokes about me not being able to get into her pants ("you'll never nail this broad"). He also made about 3-4 Jew jokes directed at me before I informed him that I am not Jewish. When he leaves, the dealer informs me that the ethnic joking is making him uncomfortable.

At about 4:30 my friend and I retire. At 5 Russ bursts into the room with a wad of 100's shouting "I JUST WON 900 BUCKS AT THE SLOTS." I was irritated because I am incapable of beating the house even for ten minutes, but I pass out.

I wake up at 10, everyone seems in an eerily somber mood. Considering Russ won nearly $1k the night before and is just a poor college kid with a gambling problem, he doesn't seem too happy. My friend informs me that the following took place after I passed out:

Russ bursts in at 5 am as I recall, shouting jubilantly. He then leaves. At this point I pass out for good. He returns 5 minutes later with a girl, whom he directs into the bathroom and nails with the door open. The girl can be overheard discussing money, so she is clearly a hooker. They leave. Russ comes back in 15 minutes extremely upset. Apparently while outside of the Trop and on the phone with his mother, whom he called at 5 am to express his joy, he was mugged at knifepoint, and all the money he won was taken from him. He immediately exclaims to his mom, "A [censored] n---er just mugged me." Within a half hour time span, Russ has won $900, bought a hooker, and been robbed of all his winnings.

Cliff Notes: I go to AC, hit on an ugly girl, someone mistakes me for a Jew, a friend of a friend wins $900, nails a hooker in the bathroom while 5 of us are asleep, then gets robbed by a third party.

Yes, it is. As for follow ups, Russ, the only one who knows the juicy details, didn't even admit to the hooker incident (nor did anyone bring it up). We have it at ~20% that the hooker actually robbed him and he lied about it to seem like less of a pansy, but we may never know the truth.
